If you aren’t able to make the call yourself, then anyone can call on your behalf, for example a friend, carer, loved one or even a GP. You can also access NHS111 online (opens in new window).
Each Crisis Team is staffed by nurses, doctors, support workers and others who try to work with users to prevent hospital admission for those who experience relapse. The team will also see new clients who may be depressed and have suicidal feelings and will offer home treatment where possible.
