Stress Buster course

Stress is a natural part of our lives, however our stress levels can sometimes become too high and it may start to affect us negatively.

The NHS North Lincs Talking Therapies stress management course, Stress Buster, is a six-week course, which provides you with tools and techniques to help you to understand and manage your stress, anxiety and depression.

You will learn techniques to manage your stress levels and improve your confidence, such as:

  • relaxation
  • activity planning
  • challenging negative thoughts
  • addressing worries
  • managing panic attacks
  • reducing avoidance

The course runs over six weeks with a different topic each week. This course is open to anyone who lives in North Lincolnshire and is registered to a local GP in the area.

The stress course is not group therapy; you will not be asked to share your experiences or to speak up in front of others. You can just sit back, listen, and put your new skills into practice.
